How long has the company been established?
A1 Computer Repair Hull was founded in 2000, since then we have completed over 1500 repairs offering our services to the local area of Hull. We are a customer oriented family run business with 14 years of experience in the computer service sector. We have a team of certified and experienced IT Engineers who can diagnose and repair most hardware or software faults.
Which methods of payment do you accept?
We accept payment in cash and by all major credit and debit cards. A full receipt will be provided.
What does No Fix - No Fee actually mean?
“No Fix – No Fee” simply means that if our engineer does not know how to repair your computer, there will be nothing to pay at all.
Are your engineers all locally based?
Our engineers all live within the local community which they serve. We have a strong belief in supporting locally based engineers and so, on average, the engineer who visits you will reside less than ten miles away from your home.
How quickly can you come out to me?
We can usually arrange a local engineer visit within two hours. We operate Monday to Friday 8am till 8pm. Saturdays/ Sundays bank holidays 12pm – 5pm. Our phone lines open at 8.00 AM or text out of hours 07813818040.
Are replacement components guaranteed?
All hardware components are supplied brand new and are covered by a full one-year parts and labour warranty.

Do you provide home tuition?
We can provide training and support in your own home so you can learn at your own pace. We offer lessons to newbie’s from surfing the internet safely, setting up email and user accounts, to computer maintenance.
If you feel your child could do with 1 to 1 tuition to help with there school work, or you’re a parent/adult we can provide the right course for you, call us today and we will be happy to help.
Can you help with my iPad, iPhone, Android or Kindle?
Yes, we can configure your iPad, iPhone, Android device, Kindle or e-book reader to connect to your broadband router, and also provide any help you may need learning how to use the device, and connecting to iTunes or the Kindle book store.
Will your engineer take my computer away for repair?
We carry out all repairs on-site, so you can watch what is taking place and ask any questions. Our engineer will not take your computer away for repair. However we do take computers back to our workshop to complete repairs, only if we feel it is cost effective to the customers we will then return and setup your computer & laptop at no extra cost to you.
Can you help set up my new computer or Xbox?
Yes, our engineers can set up your new computer or Xbox, connect it to the Internet and also to your home network, if you have one. In addition, we can transfer the data from your old PC to your new one.
Do you repair printers?
We carry out software related repairs to printers – drivers or setup problems, however, we are unable to repair printer hardware failures.
Do you replace laptop screens and keyboards?
Yes, we are able to replace screens and keyboards for most makes of laptop. This service is not available in all areas – please contact us for more details.
Can you help set up TV streaming?
Yes, our engineers can help configure your Internet receiving device to connect to your television in order to enable streaming of movies and TV episodes, using services such as Lovefilm, etc.
